Twitter Timing [Infographic Friday]

There are lots of theories on the best time to post social content.    Link shortener, bit.ly, tells us that the best time to post on Twitter is on Monday, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. ET.  Sysomos analyzed over 20 million tweets and came to the conclusion that early in the week is the best time to tweet, far superior to the weekend.  KISSmetrics, one of my personal favorite sources, tells us that 5 p.m. ET is the best time for tweeting, but an hour later, particularly midweek, will drive more click-throughs to your site. It seems that there are as many conclusions, all backed up by data, that advise companies when it is best to communicate, when it is ideal to be retweeted and the like as there are tweets!  For IMN, the ideal tweet time seems to be 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Please enjoy this Friday’s infographic that attempts to make sense of it all!
